Volunteer Opportunities
Looking for ways to live out your faith? Contact one of our areas of service and become part of our family. Appalachian Outreach Ministries consists of several branches, including our clothing and food pantry, home repair program, and outlet/donation center, and emergency shelter for women and children. We are volunteer based and need your help! Please note that due to the nature of our work, volunteers may be required to have a background check in order to serve with us.

In order to volunteer with AMOS, each volunteer must fill out a physical copy of the Waiver, Indemnity Agreement and Medical Consent Form (18 and older) . For Volunteers, 17 and under, parents/legal guardians of the youth must fill out a physical copy of the Waiver, Indemnity Agreement and Medical Consent Form (17 and younger). These forms can be returned to AMOS via the following methods:
(1.) Scanned and emailed to [email protected] or [email protected] (2.) Mailed through USPS to Appalachian Ministries of the Smokies P.O. C-N 71904 Jefferson City, TN 37760 (3.) Volunteers can deliver them to Executive Director Jean-Ann Washam or Ministry Center Coordinator upon arrival on your first day of service. |
