HOME REPAIRS


​Counties Eligible for the Home Repair program are; Jefferson, Grainger, Cocke, and Hamblen. 
To qualify:
  •      You must currently live in the home and have resided there for at least three years.
  •      You must own your home or are purchasing it through a traditional mortgage.
  •      The home can not be a Rent-To-Own, Lease-To-Own, or Land Contract.
  •      There can be no Bankruptcies in the last five years.
  •      Your income must fall within the Statewide Median Income Guidelines.
If you meet the qualifications for Home Repair: Please print the application, complete it, and mail it in with the required documents.

Appalachian Ministries Of the Smokies (AMOS) and the Samaritan House Family Ministries are volunteer based; as a result we depend on this support. There are a large variety of ways to participate, and everyone who wants to help can get involved.

GIVE USEABLE ITEMS

 We accept clothing, electronics, food, furniture and other household essentials.  

Items can be taken to our Donation Center located at 190 W. Old Andrew Johnson Hwy Jefferson City, TN. 37760 Daily: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
​
Food donations are accepted at 511 Municipal Dr.
​Monday-Friday: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

GIVE FINANCIALLY

We appreciate monetary donations. These allow each ministry area to operate daily, purchasing food for the pantry, buying building supplies for home repairs, and providing all household necessities for the shelter. You will receive a tax receipt for your financial donation.  You may give cash, check or online.
