A predominate part of our Appalachian Outreach summer program is the Home Repair Ministry. During a ten week period, teams travel to East Tennessee to serve families living in substandard conditions. Nearly 80% of the teams and churches that come to serve return year after year. The Home Repair Ministry serves Cocke, Grainger, Hamblen and Jefferson Counties. Our Home Repair program focuses on exterior needs of homes that are in need of handicap accessible ramps, decking, roofing, and painting. We partner with churches throughout the United States who provide labor and skills needed to complete projects. Selected projects are normally completed in June and July.
To register for our Summer Home Repair Program, the team leader can reserve a space! The open dates are on the TEAM REGISTRATION and are updated each year.
