Furniture and appliance items are donated year round by individuals, congregations, and local businesses. The Furniture Ministry at Appalachian Outreach offers donated furniture and appliances to the following families, within our community, who are in need.
We provide services to:
*Appalachian Outreach staff and volunteers are not able to pick up furniture donations.
We provide services to:
- Samaritan House residents: This is our shelter for women and children. These donations help provide furnishings for our families when they leave our facility and move into a place of their own.
- We also provide furniture for burn-out victims (authorized with fire report).
